Description
So we have a new print supplier, introducing J H Prints…..B+/PE Cubensis prints in 90mm petri dish. For study or display.
Printed on sterilised copper plates.
Thanks to J H Prints, we can now supply you with show quality prints in 90mm petri dishes. Ready to study under a microscope or to display as art for the future. A perfect record of history – The fingerprint of nature.
J H Prints make their prints under the protection of UV/sterile air flow hoods. Each print falls from the mushroom cap and is caught on thick foil. The caps sit for 24 hours while being washed with UV light and filtered air. This allows the spores to fall in complete safety. All prints are taken from the first flush and only one print is made from each cap, after which the cap is discarded. By only making one print per cap you get the clean dense prints you have been looking for.
J H Prints feel that the best way to take prints is by the above method. They say that the UV light sterilises the surface of the cap while the sterile air helps the gills open fully in 24 hours meaning the prints are stunningly beautiful and dense.
ABOUT THE VARIETY/STRAIN
Ohhhh something new. B+Pe is a cross between B+ and Penis envi.
Small House wanted to make a cross that would take the power of Penis Envi and mix that with the almost bullet proof durability of B+. The method they use is surprisingly simply. What we end up with is a first generation cross.
This cross is highly resistant to contamination and heat damage and showed increased yield over either parent strain when studied on coir/wheat bran bulk mix. Having B+ and Pe heritage means that this strain is very happy on substrates like BRF or rye grain.
The benefit of unstable crosses is the ability to morph. Meaning the mushrooms appearance will change over the flushes. Starting off looking 80% Penis Envy with pale ringed caps opening just enough for spore printing. With later flushes showing 80% typical B+ characteristics with thinner stems and large wide caps. The speed of maturity changes also with later flushes maturing very fast showering the substrate in deep purple spores. A beautiful strain cross with much potential for cloning and selection.
Taken on ALUMINIUM OR COPPER foil and protected by 90mmx15mm Polystyrene Petri Dish. The Petri Dish is sealed with Micropore Tape.
