The instant advantage of bags over jars is the fact that the bags are pliable. This simple advantage means sooo much as you are able to mix the contents very easily.
Being able to mix spores or mycelium throughout the substrate leads to supper fast colonization.
Bags also make perfect humidity tent/Grow Chambers.
Just add hydrated perlite to the bottom of the bag and then place your cakes into the bag and on top of tin foil to fruit the cakes inside the bags.
Fill with your Favorite Bulk substrate and prepare via sterilization or pasteurization. When cooled break up your colonized Spawn Bag and pour the contents into the fruiting bags containing your sterilized bulk substrate. Leave to colonize and then fruit directly from the bag. Soooo EASY.
These Bags can be used to fruit 2-6lbs cakes made of any substrate and this is referred to as fruiting direct from the bag.

For Oysters and similar 10lbs straw logs can be also made.
No need to buy tubs that need drilling.
Used for transferring from spawn bags to bulk substrate.
