Black Gold ready to use horse poo pellets.

450g Black Gold Hpoo Pellets
Swelling to 2000ml enough for 4lbs bulk substrate.
Are you tired of walking those Horse Fields looking for the Black Gold?
Bored of soaking, leaching and straining your poo only to still smell ammonia?
Perhaps there are no fields around by you and the thought of driving to the country side on a random hunt for Horse Poo seems just a step too far.
Well we feel the same…..
So we found a farmer called Fred.
Fred prepares his manure mixture to be ph neutral and ammonia free. He then pelletises the Horse Manure into dry pellets for home use.
How does Farmer Fred do this….
He takes his time and allows a process of Humification to prepare the Horse poo for him.
Fred says…..
Organic matter is humified by a combination of saprotrophic fungi, bacteria, microbes and animals such as earthworms, nematodes, protozoa, and arthropods. Plant remains, including those that animals digested and excreted, contain organic compounds: sugars, starches, proteins, carbohydrates, lignin, waxes, resins and organic acids. Decay in the manure begins with the decomposition of sugars and starches from carbohydrates, which decompose easily as detritivores and initially invade the dead plant organs, while the remaining cellulose and lignin decompose more slowly. Simple proteins, organic acids, starches, and sugars decompose rapidly, while crude proteins, fats, waxes, and resins remain relatively unchanged for longer periods of time. Lignin, which is quickly transformed by white rot fungi is one of the primary precursors of humus, together with by-products of microbial and animal activity. The humus produced by humification is thus a mixture of compounds and complex biological chemicals of plant, animal, or microbial origin that has many functions and benefits in mycology. Some judge earthworm humus vermicompost to be the optimal organic manure.
Well that sounds good. But what does that all mean for us???
Basically good old Farmer Fred is mass producing hpoo into Black Gold ready to use horse poo pellets for all.
