Heat matt dimensions are:
7 watt heat mat: 15cm x 28cm
20 watt heat matt: 42cm x 28cm
If you’re finding it difficult to keep your day and night temps stable then you need this upgrade!
Thermostatically controlled heat mat.
Simple to use; just plug in and play, comes pre-set at the desired temperature. This little heat mat will maintain the perfect substrate environment for growth.
The thermostat also has a digital display for clear readings. Gives accurate temperatures to 0.1C degrees.
Temperature probe – 2m Lead length
The Team set the temps to come on at 26C and off at 27C
Sellotape the temp prob to the heat mat so it will not fall off.
MAKE SURE TO STICK TEMP PROBE TO ONE OF THE BLACK SECTIONS ON HEAT MATT.
To change the temperature settings please follow below:
Press and hold left hand arrow for 3 seconds and use the up and down arrows to change to the ON temp. leave for 5 seconds.
Press and hold the right arrow for 3 seconds and use the up and down arrows to change to the OFF temp.
Placing the heat mat inside a plastic storage tote will make a brilliant incubator for colonizing spawn bags and bulk substrate. The storage tote incubator works great for the Inject-and-Forget Bags, just make sure to drill 8 small holes low down in the box and another 8 holes up high so the bags can breathe.
