Associate Membership Policy
By recognizing those martial artists we have trained with and respect; and by accepting them into our Fellowship, we ensure that our concepts, philosophies, theories and techniques are spread to another
generation of practitioners.
Associate Members are not required to adopt our belt requirements for their students but they can be considered for ranking if they wish to be tested and to advance in the Fellowship. Associate Members are
invited and encouraged to participate in Fellowship classes and seminars.
This Policy will allow those we know and trust, to share our martial art path. For a candidate to be considered an Associate Fellowship member, he or she is required to :
- Be sponsored by a Board Member and then win the approval of two-thirds of the Board of Directors in a vote
- Have a minimum of five years as a Black Belt, or a second degree Black Belt in an acknowledged Martial Art
- Not have a criminal record
- Be willing to support Fellowship goals and activities
- Accept and abide by the Fellowship’s four pillar value system: Honour, Disciple, Respect and Friendship
