Professor Dave Robitaille
Professor Dave Robitaille began his martial arts training in Hamilton, Ontario taking classes in Judo, Karate and Boxing. In 1978, he moved to Ottawa, Ontario; then in 1980 began his Jiu-Jitsu training with Sensei Michel Leblanc. In May 2004, he received his promotion to 6th Degree Black Belt, and in 2020, he was promoted to 7th Degree Black Belt (Shichidan)
Professor Dave Robitaille received the Base Commander’s Commendation for teaching Women’s Self Defence while at CFB Halifax in 1993. He also had the first adult father and son tested and pass for Black Belts and the first Junior Black Belts in Ninja-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu. He has provided seminars for charity, and also in Women’s Self Defence.
