QTSBF, TotalEnergies renew partnership agreement for another three years

The Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) and TotalEnergies Qatar have renewed the partnership agreement of the annual Qatar TotalEnergies Open for another three years – until 2025.

The press conference to announce the partnership renewal, held at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex on Sunday, was attended by the QTSBF President Nasser bin Ghanim Al Khelaifi, President and TotalEnergies Qatar Managing Director Matthieu Bouyer, senior officials from both organisations and media representatives.

HE Khelaifi thanked TotalEnergies for renewing their sponsorship of the prestigious tournament, and he appreciated them for their consistent and valuable contribution to the development of tennis in Qatar for more than two decades.

The QTSBF president added that the partnership between the two organisations has been a source of mutual pride and one that has contributed tremendously to further enhancing the growth of tennis across the region.

TotalEnergies Qatar Managing Director Matthieu Bouyer said the tournament has thrived into one of the most prestigious women tennis events in the region and that his organisation is proud to be its title sponsor since its inception.

The Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2022, the 20th edition, is significant in many respects. It represents two decades of mutually rewarding partnership with the title sponsor – TotalEnergies, and the first tournament under the new brand after the transition from Total E&P to TotalEnergies last year.
