Tennis is a popular sport in the State of Qatar and is rapidly rising in popularity among the populace of the nation. The Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF), the country’s tennis governing body, currently maintains a list of 1,000 players who are officially registered and eligible to compete in the numerous local, regional, and international tournaments the federation organises and stages each year throughout the season, which runs from (insert the season’s beginning and end months).

The most successful player is ranked highest, with the ranking method based on the rounds each player enters and the number of participants who share in each draw.

Following each tournament that the Federation oversees or organises, the rankings are updated two weeks following the event.

Only athletes and competitions held in the State of Qatar are included in the rankings.
