COMBO BROWS

As the name suggests it’s a combination of a hairstroke and gentle shading to achieve more defined results. A shaded machine brow with a gradient colour from dark to light with natural hair-like strokes. A great option for those who love the look of a perfect brow.

Combination Brows Overview

It’s pretty much exactly what it sounds like: a combination of microblading and powder fill.

These brows are a best of both worlds! For the people that find microblading too natural but don’t want an ombré look at the fronts of the brow- these are for you. Small hair strokes are implanted just at the fronts of the brow and then ombré is put through the rest to give the brow a natural front but bold arch and tail.

Pros:

The combination of microbladed hair strokes and a powder fill gives an incredibly natural looking brow. It’s a bit more defined and filled in than just straight microbladed brows, and a bit less solid and dramatic than the ombre powder fill.

Cons:

This is not for clients with oily/ mature skin, this is due to the hair strokes which are done with the Microblading tool. It also doesn’t last as long as Ombre brows.

Who is it best for?

Normal skin as the hair strokes will last longer.

All brows are customized specially for each individual client based on your desired look, skin type, colouring, bone structure etc. There are no two clients with the same brow design.

Maintenance and Care

All top ups are required 4-8 weeks after your initial appointment.
Ensure you cover your brows with minimum spf 30 when in direct sunlight.

Most clients require annual top up boosts, however this depends on your life style, skin type and preference.

Pre Care

Always ensure you..

  • Avoid coffee and alcohol 24 hours
  • Avoid excess sweating
  • Avoid taking ibuprofen 24 hours
  • Avoid extreme sun exposure 1 week before
  • Avoid Botox 2 weeks before
  • Please do not tint, wax or pluck your brows 2 weeks before

Aftercare

Always ensure you..

  • Gently clean the area every hour until the end of the day
  • Apply a very thin layer of your aftercare cream morning and night
  • Do not pick or rub the area
  • Not following the before and aftercare will result in your brows not healing as desired. Therefore you may need further top ups.

COMMON QUESTIONS

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

Before the treatment I would ask you to come in for a consultation to understand what your goal is, what is realistic, the risk and complications, process and any questions you may have.

HOW LONG WILL MY EYEBROWS LAST?

It is not possible to give you an exact timeframe, however, they usually last between 2-3 years occasionally with annual top ups.

Not following your pre/ aftercare given by us will affect the length of time they will last, so please ensure this is done correctly.

Other factors to take into consideration would be how much time you spend in the sun and on sunbeds, your life style and skin type.

HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT TAKE?

Around 2-3 hours. This includes going through your forms completed online at the time of booking, discussing shapes and colours and any other queries you may have.

WILL I GO OVER OTHER ARTISTS WORK?

Only if they have faded enough that I can start again, if you are unsure, please send me a photo with no make up and in good lighting so I can asses this properly, or you are welcome to come down to the clinic.

Please note I do not ‘top up’ other artists work.
