We also supply easily accessible online medical information, an FAQ sheet, versatile informed consent options, electronic after-care guidelines that include our contact information, and a digital proof of vaccination for each participant. All participants will have their influenza vaccine loaded on to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) which will ensure they can access a record via myGov, and their GP’s can assess it through their my health record.

WAWV utilizes the egg-based quadrivalent 2023 influenza vaccines:
an A/Sydney/5/2021 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus;
an A/Darwin/9/2021 (H3N2)-like virus;
a B/Austria/1359417/2021 (B/Victoria lineage)-like virus; and
a B/Phuket/3073/2013 (B/Yamagata lineage)-like virus.
WAWV Uses Influvac Tetra for employees aged to 64 years, and Fluad
Quad for employees aged 65+
Fluad Quad is an enhanced quadrivalent vaccine. The enhanced
vaccine has been specially formulated to create a greater immune
response amongst older people, who are known to have a weaker
response to immunisation.
