About Us

Nicholas Sadhu is an accredited Mediator in Australia and Singapore. He has over 20 years experience as a commercial litigation lawyer in Australia and Fiji.

Nicholas is originally from Fiji and has travelled and worked across many Pacific islands. He is sensitive to the cultural, social, and environmental contexts in the Pacific, and understands the need to exercise tact and discretion when dealing with parties from various communities.

Nicholas is also passionate about making a difference in the field of environmental conflict management and resolution in the Oceania region. Having also trained as a restorative justice practitioner. he believes mediation and facilitative restorative conferencing practices can be adopted for resolving conflicts related to environmental degradation and climate change. Nicholas is also on the Green Climate Fund Independent Redress Mechanism’s (IRM) panel of mediators. 

Nicholas’ mediation and litigation experience also enables him to provide consultancy in conflict management and resolution. He strongly believes in organisations having Dispute System Design (DSD), and adopting Conflict Management Systems (CMS), to address grievances, conflicts and disputes at the earliest stage to save parties time and costs.

Nicholas holds a Master of Dispute Resolution from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom and the Australian National University, Canberra.
